It is with heavy hearts that we must inform you all, that due to personal reasons, Synit will cease trading this year. We will continue to take orders up until 31st of March 2018. Any orders must be paid in full and build time frames can be discussed before any purchase is made. This is a very difficult decision that the Synit team has been faced with.
Over the past nearly 12 years, we have met some incredible people and manufactured some outstanding rods, both in performance and cosmetic appearance. It is unfortunate that our dream of setting new benchmarks in the industry has had to come to an end. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers over the years, and everyone who has contributed behind the scenes to Synit’s amazing journey.
Tight lines to you all!
Graeme & Cj.
Who are we?
Why custom made?
Where to buy?

Mass produced rods are pumped out quickly and are often built off-spine. Having your rod built on-spine plays a crucial part in the life of your rod. Components that are often assembled off-spine can be the guides, the reel seat, a gimbal butt cap and the blank. When these components are built off-spine an angler will end up having to fight both the fish, and the rod.
What does off-spine mean?
Like humans, each blank has a spine, they naturally want to bend one way. this is to do with the way a blank is rolled around a mandrel. When a rod is built off this spine and then bent under load, it will want to twist to where the rod naturally wants to bend, making it harder to use your rod in a fight and also increases the risk of breaking your rod.
At Synit all of our rods are built by hand. The blank is tested throughout every step of the build process to ensure each component is built on-spine. This means you can fight your fish comfortably rather than fighting against your rod when it twists.
Having your rod custom made allows you to add your own personal touch, such as personalized labels, color themes, adding our exclusive Neuron artwork and having your rod built to your specs.
